Welcome to Meeteetse Schools! We take pride in the Longhorn way and striving for excellence in all that we do.  This year, we have planned monthly field trips to expose our students to a variety of learning experiences beyond the doors of our school. We have a strong belief that learning and teaching must include the world around us. Having an abundance of human and natural resources in our area, we strive to take advantage of these resources, while building experiences that connect to real world learning for our students. One example of this is our first day of school outdoor lab, which took place on the Wood River. Students were exposed to careers and learning through partnerships with the Wyoming Game and Fish, Meeteetse Recreation Center, Meeteetse Museums, and area ranchers. 

We welcome the community to join us in learning adventures in and out of the building. It is our belief that stakeholders are an integral part of our success and therefore welcome your input. Please check our website, facebook, and BLOOMZ pages as well as The District Horn and Meeteetse Bulletin for frequent and current information regarding what is happening at the school. 

Please know that you are always welcome to visit us. If you are looking for the feel private school without the tuition, Meeteetse should be at the top of your list. We are always happy to give tours of the building for those who may be interested in learning more about what we have to offer. Don’t hesitate to reach out or drop by for a visit!
